Gonzaga Invited to Join the Mountain West

LOS ANGELES:  In approximately two weeks the University of Gonzaga will have the chance to become the 12th member of the Mountain West conference. Rumors surrounding Gonzaga’s potential move to the Mountain West have been circling around since last April. “We’d like to be done with all this in the next couple weeks, but there is no deadline,” Gonzaga athletic director Mike Roth said. “The time crunch is self-imposed. We’re not getting any pressure. We’re going to do what’s right for Gonzaga.”
